This Wednesday, 21st Jan, men’s club will resume in the St. Mochumma room after 9:30 mass, I look forward to seeing you again.

We had lodged an application for planning permission to extend the parish cemetery as proposed on the green coloured area marked on the plan in the front porch of the Church.

An objection to the proposal was lodged by Northern Ireland Water on the grounds that a major water main passes through parish property.

Due to the size of the water main there is a 12-meter exclusion zone on each side of the mains. The exclusion zone prohibits the extension of the Parish Cemetery as planned.

Unfortunately, due to the presence of the water main we have also lost a number of proposed graves in the existing cemetery.
We have re-applied for a much smaller extension of only a few graces but this may not be financially viable.
We have proceed with the application for planning for the Columbarium and expect this to be through by the beginning of the Autumn

We no longer presume that parents wish their child to make the sacrament of First Holy Communion & Confirmation.

Parents must therefore enrol their children for this sacrament, whether in a Catholic /Non Catholic Primary School.

First Holy Communion Registration will take place on Tuesday 30th September at 7pm in the Church.

Confirmation Registration will take place on Tuesday 7th October at 7pm in the Church.

If you could not attend the enrolment night please speak to Fr Michael or Fr Sean after Mass over the next few weekends.

Back on Sunday 18th January at 11am in the St Mochumma Room. For children aged from P2-P4.

Come along for a fun-filled time exploring the Bible through games, interactive storytelling, and creative crafts!

This engaging session is designed to help children discover Bible stories in a lively and hands-on way — perfect for curious minds and active imaginations.

This will be a drop off session but all children will need to be registered at the door.

On Tuesday 27th January at 10am in the St Mochumma room. Please note we will meet on the LAST Tuesday of every month.
